Bring the healing power of art into your space.

Through gentle guidance and creative exploration, I help individuals reconnect with themselves and others in meaningful, transformative ways. My therapeutic art workshops are rooted in creativity, ritual, and the belief that art is a powerful tool for healing and change. I am a trauma informed, certified Art Therapy Practitioner who used my lived experiences in dealing with anxiety, depression, cPTSD, and unhealthy coping mechanisms, to connect to others in a heart led and compassionate manner; showing how we can transmute our pain and suffering, rewire our nervous system, and find peace through the practice of ‘art as medicine’.

Whether you’re planning a wellness retreat, designing a youth program, or supporting individuals on their recovery journey, I offer a safe and inspiring space where creativity becomes a path to resilience, self-discovery, and connection.

What I Offer

  • Introduce art as a form of ritual and emotional healing
  • Support the release and transformation of pain and trauma through creative expression
  • Aid in nervous system regulation and building new neuro pathways

What Others Are Saying

“Katrina is amazing with program guests and workshops!”                 – Sapha Habibi, Sacred Rebels Recovery Founder
“Katrina met me with unconditional positive regard, empathy, and compassion at one of my darkest moments. Her therapeutic art practice helped me and my daughter come back together to repair after a rupture. Her work is helpful to me as a person living with the ongoing impacts of colonial genocide, and I encourage others navigating trauma, addictions, and mental health challenges to engage in a therapeutic art practice like Katrina guided us through.”
– Nalaga/ kaaw kuuna, Avis O’Brien- land based cultural empowerment facilitator
“Katrina @sea_and_weave is an absolutely amazing teacher! I am currently in her four week group sessions and it’s honestly been a beautiful and empowering experience. The way she shares her knowledge is so thoughtful and grounding, you can really feel how much heart she puts into every lesson. I’ve already learned so much, and am feeling more connected to myself and my creativity each week. If you’ve been thinking about working with her, so it!”
– Danielle C. Workshop attendee

FAQ

Do participants need to be ‘good’ at art?
Not at all. My workshops focus on process, not product. No prior art experience is necessary—just a willingness to show up and explore.

Can workshops be tailored to specific themes or intentions?
Yes. I regularly design workshops to align with themes like mental health, grief, resilience, recovery, team building, and youth empowerment.

Do you travel to different locations?
Yes, I’m available to travel within British Columbia. Travel fees may apply outside of the Comox Valley area.

Can you accommodate large groups?
Absolutely. I can work with small intimate circles or larger groups, depending on the setting and support available.
